What is GeorgeConnX?

Welcome to our new GeorgeConnX community! This program gives you the power to be “Connected for Life”, GeorgeConnX connects you to an active and engaged community of Alumni willing to provide mentorship and other life and career assistance. GeorgeConnX individually tailors your profile so that you are able to connect to Alumni and peers who most closely share your common interests and pursuits. It’s a human to human connection powered by advanced technology used by dozens of other colleges and universities across the United States. GeorgeConnX mentors are highly engaged with this program and they WANT TO HELP YOU! Washington College alums have two essential qualities that are practically important for you, they know first hand what the Washington College experience is all about so they can relate to you! GeorgeConnX mentors have a wealth of knowledge in their particular field so they can provide valuable information as you start your career! GCX is a game changer and we hope that you will take advantage of this great opportunity to help separate yourself from others.

Before you register for a GeorgeConnX profile it will ask you to answer the following questions:

  1. Year of graduation
  2. What is your major and minor?
  3. What are your hobbies and passions 
  4. What activities do/did you participate in on campus?
  5. Write a bio describing what field you are looking to pursue.

Evening hours are conducted entirely through remote mode using HANDSHAKE online appointment system.
