Internship Program:
Interns will have the opportunity for personal and professional development while, gaining insight into future career opportunities within our firm. The 10-week program will run from May 29, 2024 to August 9, 2024.
The Portfolio Management internship will be based out of our Wilmington, DE location. This is a hybrid position, and the intern will be required to work in the office at least three days per week, but it could be more based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
Roles and responsibilities will vary based on the department, all interns are expected to support a wide range of activities, acting, and performing professionally. As an intern, you’ll gain exposure to the wealth and investment management businesses with a deeper level of experience in a particular area of focus. We work collaboratively, and your role will be “hands-on,” working alongside managers and specialists of all career levels.
Portfolio Management
Portfolio Managers work closely with clients to develop an Investment Policy Statement, identify an asset allocation, and review and define the permissible asset classes and sub-asset classes with minimum, maximum and long-term weightings. The portfolio management team remains responsible for the ongoing active management of client portfolios.
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and a rising junior or senior, (graduating between May 2025 – December 2026).
- We accept varying majors, Finance or Economics majors preferred.
- FactSet or Bloomberg knowledge preferred.
- Must demonstrate an ability for problem-solving.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
- Must demonstrate academic excellence and be interested to learn more about a career in investment/wealth management.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship, for the internship duration.
