Overview
- Spring/Fall: PT; Summer: FT
- Interns work minimum 20 hours per week during the semester.
Job Duties
- Provide advice and support to OGS business units with regard to sustainability initiatives.
- Support data collection and analysis for reporting on key sustainability metrics.
- Work with stakeholders to meet Executive Order 22 mandates, including 100% renewable electricity, diverting waste and green procurement.
- Provide project management support to ensure initiatives are on track.
- Support team members in developing project scopes and workplans, adjusting the timing of key deliverables and milestones as needed.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate, graduate, PhD – Prefer graduate/PhD but open to undergraduate, pursing a degree in Architecture/Engineering, environmental policy or studies business or law. Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Team player approach to work and willingness to research and learn about new topics
- Solution-oriented thinking, intellectual curiosity, and ability to seek out innovative, data-driven solutions to complex problems.
