Job Title: Facility Services Intern

*This internship begins on May 22, 2023 and runs until August 11 2023. This role is a full time commitment ( 37.5 hour work week).*
Job Summary: The Facility Services Intern is responsible for the entry and accuracy of all assets recorded in the FAMIS system for Facilities asset tagging for new stores, projects and remodels. Works cross functionally with other members of the Facilities team to ensure completion of objectives. Works collaboratively with our Internal Techs and vendor partners to support effective installation and management of the asset tags in our stores.
Principal Duties:
- Ensure assets are accurately recorded in FAMIS.
- Process asset transfers received by vendors, investigate discrepancies, and make corrections in the system.
- Input warranty related information into the FAMIS system to ensure appropriate dispatch, tracking and payment.
- Track and report information necessary for the project and create weekly updates for Vendor Managers.
- Resolve issues related to assets that are being tracked by the Facility Center team.
- Build effective relationships with Store Operations, and vendor partners assuring stores’ asset needs are properly understood and fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Identify, communicate and implement process change opportunities.
- Perform site audits as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or Higher
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university for the Spring 2023 semester – Fall 2024 semester
- Candidate must be available from May 22, 2023 – August 11, 2023
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration or major in Accounting or Logistics preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
