The Reinhart-King lab studies how the extracellular environment affects disease progression with a focus on metastasis, angiogenesis, and atherosclerosis. We are interested in how the composition, structure and mechanics of the extracellular matrix affect cell behavior. We have several funded projects available in the lab focused on several different lines of research including the study of cell migration during metastasis. Successful applicants should have training in bio-engineering or biological sciences with some background in basic cell biology. Experience with molecular biology, mouse models, mechanical testing and/or micro fabrication is a plus but not required.
Please send your CV and statement of interest to Cynthia Reinhart-King.
