We are looking for intern candidates interested in applying their academic experience in a real-world, hands-on business environment. The successful candidate will have completed at least two years of their college degree and have demonstrated academic experience in some of the following areas: Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Business Management or Digital Marketing.
The Intern’s responsibilities will be directed in two areas, one external and one internal. The first could be in direct support of consulting teams by delivering research, analytics or modeling which contribute to client solutions. The second could be in direct support of a functional team such as Marketing in the delivery of digital marketing analytics and marketing content.
Our summer intern program is a 10-week program from June – August.
Description of Job Responsibilities
+ Conduct research, assimilate information, synthesize key findings and prepare summary documents on specific industries or enterprises that enable the firm to better understand the financial, economic and regulatory landscape of its clients and prospects.
+ Conduct research, assimilate information, synthesize key findings and prepare summary documents on technical, organizational, management or operational specific areas to identify current trends or best practices relevant to client deliverables.
+ Support complex data analytics (filter, cleanse and examine data) to assist project teams as they diagnose client problems.
+ Support financial modelling to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets including statistical analyses and hypothesis testing.
+ Create models and diagrams (such as flowcharts) that assist project teams in their analytic pursuits
+ Support project teams by preparing notes, tracking actions and coordinating project team activities to assist in the project management of their client deliverables
+ Learn and apply data visualization tools to enable insights for project teams, e.g. PowerBI
+ Learn and apply digital marketing tools to provide insights in support of revenue-generating efforts, e.g. NetBase, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
+ Two years of a college program with emphasis in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Finance, Business Management or Digital Marketing
+ Adept at Microsoft Office Suite of tools such as Teams, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
+ Course work that demonstrates technical and analytical skills, as well as business financial and business operations acumen
+ Able to provide examples of written reports or research documents that demonstrates high quality written communication skills
+ Through the interview process, demonstrated ability to interact in a professional, articulate manner
+ Demonstrated leadership activities through student associations, volunteer work or community service
