We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern eager to learn about our company and deliver great products and solutions in the satellite communications technology domain. You will work closely with our engineering team to conduct research, design, code, test, and deliver satellite communication software using engineering best practices and tools. To be successful as an Intern, you should be eager to learn and assist with any tasks in any phase of the engineering lifecycle. You’ll be involved in current projects as well as helping with past and upcoming projects.
Intern Job Responsibilities
- Understands the overall company, including the product, customers, and all other engineering aspects.
- Learn software engineering using agile and scrum methodologies.
- Designing, developing (coding), and testing software. Participate in code review, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
- Researching, troubleshooting, and fixing a wide range of technical issues.
- Proactively learning and creating solutions.
- Presenting the final project during the internship to team members.
Intern requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, highly developed analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Experience with various programming languages
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
