Purpose of Role

  • Support a leading global pharmaceutical client and internal stakeholders by understanding, developing and Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical technique
  • Implementing data integration and deriving meaningful integrated data outputs
  • Mix of an Individual contributor and project ownership role from end to end
  • Stakeholder Management – setting clear expectations on quality of deliverables & timelines
  • Co-ordination with off-shore team members

Key Tasks (For each KRA)

1. Execution of the Project

  • Design stable, reliable and effective databases
  • Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
  • Solve database usage issues and malfunction
  • Provide data management support to users Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing source data and correct code problems if any?
  • Work with team to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, champion standardization initiatives within and across business units
  • Work effectively in matrixed teams as well as independently to accomplish project goal

2. Stakeholder Communication/Management

  • Be an active client communicator (To be participative during the discussions)
  • Manage and organize weekly/need basis meetings with offshore teams

3. Organization Initiatives

  • Actively participates in organizational initiatives (Trainings, New Initiative etc.)
  • Contributes to process improvement

Pre-requisites

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc), programming (ETL frameworks)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SA, R etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • A descent background/ working knowledge around multiple therapy areas an advantage and is preferred
  • Adherence to client specific data privacy and compliance policies
  • Proficiency in various commonly used transactional data assets and others including Volumes/ Value, Rx, Specialty level, Longitudinal Patient level data assets

Evening hours are conducted entirely through remote mode using HANDSHAKE online appointment system.
