HOW DO I APPLY?
Submit the following to Submit@NativeSkinOnline.com:
- Two of Your Poems, published or unpublished
- One Published Poem by an Obscure Poet (Not Well-Known). Poem chosen must exhibit your artistic sensibilities and editorial eye. Poem also must be one which you would edit. Don’t send one you think is “Perfect as is.” While many submissions will be perfect as-is, selecting a published poem you would edit will show your editorial approach for those poems you will need to edit. This is key.
- 500-word essay analyzing your One Published Poem choice, including why you chose the poem; why you think it represents your editorial eye & artistic sensibilities; and your approach to changes as well as how you would approach the author on making those desired changes.
