POSITION SUMMARY

At Equipment Depot, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a results-driven Account Executive (AE) to manage our key account portfolios. You will be developing client relationship management strategies, establishing strong client relationships, and suggesting innovative solutions to meet client needs.

To ensure success as an Account Executive, you should possess extensive sales experience in a related industry and the ability to generate business leads. An outstanding Account Executive will be someone whose customer-oriented approach and sales expertise result in increased profitability.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Maintaining assigned key accounts and providing ongoing client support.

• Developing and implementing client relationship management strategies.

• Communicating with key clients to monitor client expectations and satisfaction.

• Identifying new business leads and contacting prospective key clients to promote products and services.

• Establishing efficient communication channels and liaising between key clients and internal departments.

• Recommending and implementing improvements to the management of key client relationships.

• Handling client queries and finding innovative solutions for complex problems.

• Monitoring sales performance metrics and facilitating timely interventions.

• Performing recordkeeping, as well as preparing sales forecasts and reports.

• Report to Field Sales Manager (FSM) with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

• Actively collaborate with Branch Management, Sales Leadership, and Equipment Specialist’s

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience: 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding sales targets
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge and abilities of Microsoft Office products prior knowledge and use of CRM a plus
  • Other Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a professional sales organization
  • Strong communication, persuasion, active listening, time management, negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and energy to work in a fast-moving, changing environment
  • Current, valid driver’s license with relatively clean driving record

Work environment varies from office to job site to industrial locations

F Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm  

Evening hours are conducted entirely through remote mode using HANDSHAKE online appointment system.
