We’re seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join the Corporate International Affairs team in Miami and support high profile companies and leaders. We’re looking for a team member with vast understanding of the Puerto Rico market, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, navigating complex subjects, and thinking creatively and strategically. The Account Executive will support all aspects of our targeted communications work, with a focus on Puerto Rico audience work. Our team’s current areas of expertise include media relations, reputation building and crisis and issue preparedness, with key experience working with the U.S., U.S. Hispanic and Puerto Rico markets.

  • Understand key client information including business strategies, products and services, outlook, goals, key audiences, and competitors
  • Participate in the creation of client communications plans and goals, as well as new business proposals and materials
  • Serve as the team’s knowledge manager (KM), oversee the development and tracking of team case studies, and act as point person among the office’s other KMs
  • Track communications marketing trends closely to bring fresh thinking and best practices to clients
  • Take immediate action on client feedback
  • Coordinate among Edelman’s award-winning team of creative and digital teams, account strategists and subject matter experts to provide clients with customized counsel, as needed
  • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, and an interest in creative problem-solving
  • Demonstrate being a detail-oriented communicator with an energetic presence and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exemplify behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values (Quality, Integrity, Respect, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Mutual Benefits) and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Basic Qualifications:
