Dartmouth seeks a Managing Director of Parents and Grandparents Fund to join its Family Giving and Engagement team. The primary responsibilities for this position include raising the maximum current use dollars from parents, grandparents and family members and working with the Family Giving team to execute a comprehensive engagement strategy for the overall parent and family constituencies of Dartmouth. The Managing Director will manage a volunteer Family Leadership and Fundraising Committee in support of the Parents and Grandparents Fund. The Managing Director will oversee all aspects of the annual Parents and Grandparents Fund including mail and email appeals, events, and partnering with the Dartmouth College Fund. The managing director will also develop and implement cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for approximately 50 households.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of fundraising, sales, program or marketing experience, or the equivalent. Demonstrated success building relationships and managing leadership volunteers, soliciting five-figure gifts or higher, program management experience, particularly related to the operational aspects of an annual giving program. In addition, the successful candidate will have creative planning, organization, and problem-solving skills, and data-based decisions making experience. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a capacity to manage a wide range of relationships and situations.
