Full-Time Jobs Expires May 30, 2021

Camp Towanda is looking for experienced, enthusiastic Drama specialists to teach daily theatre classes to our campers, boys and girls, ages 7-17. Additionally, they lead our campers in the production of three musicals over the course of the summer (over 200 participants in each show!), talent shows and other stage performances. They work closely with the Department Head on staging, managing, directing, choreography and coordinating all aspects of these musicals. We have a beautiful outdoor amphitheater that shares a stage with an indoor field house, setting the scene for amazing camp theatre experiences. Check it out in our Virtual Tour on the website.

Job Requirements:

  • Available mid-June thru mid-August.
  • Candidates are required to complete at least one year of college
  • Qualified references
  • Great with children
  • Strong work ethic

We offer many times of paid internships too if you need, although the Counselor experience is great in and of itself!

Other Responsibilities include working with the campers as a counselor, living in a cabin with campers and other co-counselors. Counselors are assigned age groups during orientation and work with their team of counselors under the guidance of your Group Leader and assist in supervision of the campers’ daily schedule and life at camp.

The next step is to fill out our online application. Then we will set up a time for a video interview.
