Part-Time Internships Expires May 5, 2021

The Forensic Analyst Intern administrative tasks will be assigned approximately ten hours a week. Tasks are as assigned but not limited to: assisting in completing daily, weekly and monthly statistical reports; review, create electronic file jackets and log all incoming casework; conduct inventory assessments and disseminate reports, pull FBI prints utilizing ULW, review and disseminate Lead Track Reports and create tenprint cards from the customer’s repository. For the additional ten hours a week, the intern will be trained in proper methods of conducting fingerprint comparisons following the ACE-V methodology and how to complete a fingerprint transaction review and correction. Upon successful completion of their training program, the intern will be required to work independently providing the services listed above with accuracy.

The Internship will be for 6 months. Each position will be comprised of two 10-hour days starting at 6am and ending at 4pm.

Must be able to work Tuesdays (admin tasks) and Wednesdays (queue work) from 6am-4pm

The Forensic Analyst Intern will conduct….

Administrative tasks:

  • Daily Reports
  • Weekly Reports
  • Monthly Reports
  • Latent Print and Tenprint logging of cases
  • Latent Print and Tenprint email account monitoring
  • Latent Print and Tenprint results report writing and dissemination
  • Tenprint Card Creation
  • Inventory – Property Management
  • Lead Track review and dissemination
  • Pulling ULW prints
  • Other tasks as needed

  • FSM
  • Training/CVT Queue Exposure
