Full-Time Internships Expires June 26, 2021

Arcadis hires summer engineering interns. Projects during the summer internship will include work primarily on water and wastewater treatment, transportation and design, water distribution, and wastewater collection systems design and construction, as well as remediation projects. Successful intern can expect to get involved in systems design, hydraulic evaluation, developing design reports, construction documents and specifications, as well as construction oversight. Work may also include a variety of other w/ww infrastructure, including: stormwater, drainage, water / wastewater facilities design, hydraulic modeling, utilities assessments and design, etc. Might work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously and possess strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. Perform engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks, as well as work independently to produce engineering drawings, specifications, bid packages, and cost estimates for projects. A strong academic background in civil, environmental or mechanical engineering is required for the position.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Pursuing a BS in Chemical, Environmental Biological, Mechanical, Civil, Transportation, Electrical or related engineering discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior internship or coursework in the environmental sector.

Ability to pursue a full time opportunity within 12 months of completing the internship.
