Part-Time Internships Expires March 31, 2021

ACE Student Fellows are an essential part of ACE’s mission to engage young voters through nonpartisan research, and empower them to make informed choices. We are seeking a student with interest in democratic reform to research and publish on issues like campaign finance, gerrymandering, statehood issues. ACE is a nonpartisan, nonprofit think tank.

Student Fellows are responsible sharing ACE’s nonpartisan research briefs and citizen engagement tools with students, organizations, and faculty on their campus. They are then promoted to Senior Fellow, where they have the opportunity to publish policy research on subjects related to their academic interests, as well as apply for more senior and paid positions within the organization. Students are trained in outreach and experience a rigorous editing process. Research is published both on the ACE website and through the ACE Quarterly Journal.

While students are welcome to apply up until the end of the semester, we encourage early application so that students can begin their outreach and research projects as soon as possible. Different opportunities will be shared for the summer.

Application process:

  1. Fill out this form and indicate your research interests.
  2. Read the FAQ and become familiar with ACE’s website, research style, and tools.
  3. Interview with an ACE Teammate.

You can meet current Student Fellows and learn more about ACE and the position on our website.

We are looking for enthusiastic students from all disciplines who share our belief that democracy works best when citizens are actively informed and engaged.
