Join us to learn about The Starr Center’s Explore America Summer Internship program that matches outstanding WAC students with opportunities at some of the nation’s leading cultural institutions (and pays those students a $4,500 stipend for their work). The program provides professional and research experiences on topics related to American culture with institutions such as the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture, the Society for Women’s Health Research, the Library of Congress Publishing Office, the National Portrait Gallery, and more. The workshop will be hosted by Amber McGinnis, Assist. Director of Communications and Outreach and Kacey Stewart, Assist. Director Starr Center.
