Washington College Environmental Sustainability and Food Initiative
What is your position?
“I am currently serving as the student director for our new initiatives. I am working on several projects on campus including the campus garden, development of the new food initiative, and creation of campus green spaces green spaces. I am also doing research with Shane Brill (Director of Sustainability) on the optimal human diet and nutritional therapy in combination with environmental sustainability.”
How does this internship fit your career goals?
“I love this internship because it’s giving me hands-on experience learning about the intersection between environmental and human health and wellness. This is the area I am hoping to pursue after graduation and I have become even more interested and excited about it through my experience so far!”
