Erin is a Junior majoring in Communication and Media Studies with dual minors in Political Science and Secondary Education.

Greek, Admissions, Peer Mentor, Rowing

“From the moment I met with Dr. Alicia Kozma on Summer Advising Day, I knew that my place was in the Communication and Media Studies department at Washington College. The small nature of the department makes it incredibly personable and because of this, the opportunities I have been offered through the department are impeccable! Further, it is crystal clear that the staff in the department, Dr. Kozma and Dr. Grosse, bear so much knowledge and passion for this subject! The traditional and experimental CMS classes taught by Dr. Kozma, Dr. Grosse, and now visiting professor Ethan de Seife, are always educational, fascinating, and thought provoking. Even though the thought of graduation is so very scary, the fact that I know I will graduate from WC with a degree in CMS and be so well prepared for my future endeavors because of the education and experience I received from this department, does not scare me!”
